- To gain an understanding of weathering, and the different types of weathering.
- I can describe the difference between the different types of weathering and provide examples.
Activities:
5. Research and create an A4 poster:
a) Find a place in the world where a weathering process has occurred or is occurring. b) Draw a diagram or picture of your chosen rock formation. c) Describe how your chosen place has been weathered, including the type and process involved. Some examples of places impacted by weathering: - Uluru - Jenolan Caves - 3 sisters - 12 Apostles - Grand Canyon - Glass beach - Wave rock |
